Don't Hassle the Hoff!

It's been a long time . . .

Anyway. So I know it's been a long time since my last post, but unfortunately life has gotten in the way. What do you expect from a mother of 5. So in this post I would like to tell everyone who follows this blog (namely the three people who usually post comments) about the many adventures of our dog Nemo. Today our neighbors goats got loose and wandered onto our patio. Nemo thought this was great he went outside to investigate, and immediately wanted to play. The smaller of the two wanted nothing to do with him after Nemo thought a fun game of chase was in order. That brought about a swift head-but from the goat being chased. Needless to say, Nemo doesn't like goats anymore.

p.s. He's ok. Nothing hurt but his attack dog pride.

Oh Ella!

Ok,so Ella wanted a snack out of the fridge so she brought me a can of reddi whip. I told her no and she cried in typical Ella fashion. Then I told her to put it away. the next thing I hear is a loud hissing. I look over and Whip cream is spraying uncontrollably out of the can and all over the fridge and floor. I don't know how it happened but it was pretty funny. We all laughed about it while we helped clean it up. What an Ella.

OK, so my friend Kathy gave me these books to read by Orson Scott Card called the Homecoming Series. She told me they were like the Book of Mormon, only set in outer space. LOL. I will have to tell you if that's really the case after I'm done reading them.

Bedtime Routine

So here's how it went down tonight.
me "kids go brush your teeth."
bud "i can't find the toothpaste."
me "look on the floor"
bud "yup it was on the floor"
emmy "mom! buds breaking a world record!"
me "doing what?"
emmy "brushing his teeth without stopping. keep going bud your gonna to break the record."
this time bud has finished his record breaking teeth brushing and emmy combing her hair before her shower.
emmy "oh my goodness i'm hideous!"
bud "mom smell my hands"
at this point i don't think i should but i do anyway.stupid me.
me "bud go wash your hands"
yeah it really happened that way

So little Alvin was in the tub and he asked me if I could swim in the ocean. I said yes. He then said please don't swim in the big ocean because I'll miss you when you get eaten by sharks. You are only aloud to swim in a swimming pool. Okay. I just smiled and thought WOW he loves me so much.

I saw this and laughed out load. They have a Bella doll too.
P.S. Whoever drew my name for Christmas, don't buy me one of these. They're nice and all, but I'm not that obsessed. At least I don't think so.
